Head Start
Program Overview
Head Start and Early Head Start are federally funded programs administered through Broward County Public Schools. These programs are designed to promote school readiness by supporting young children's academic growth, relationship-building skills, self-regulation, and physical development, while also strengthening families.

Who We Serve
- Early Head Start: Pregnant women, infants, and toddlers (birth to age 2)
- Head Start Preschool: Children ages 3–4 (must be age-eligible on or before September 1)
- Families who meet federal eligibility guidelines
